Special Interest Groups (SIGs)
Share |
The APICS Houston chapter has formed 3 Special Interest Groups (SIGs) to help provide individuals with access to the knowledge and experience of industry leadership executives by means of fostering networking skills & building relationships, promoting continuing education, and encouraging volunteer and leadership opportunities. You can learn more about these groups below.

Emerging Leaders

The Emerging Leaders group focuses on ensuring we are developing the right supply chain leaders for the future—leaders who can deal with a high level of complexity, who understand different markets, both developed and emerging, and who can work efficiently and effectively across multiple cultures and nationalities, the APICS Houston chapter is building a group that focuses on professionals who have between 5 and 10 years of work experience.

For Emerging Leaders, please contact Chris Agner at secretary@apicshouston.org

Women in Supply Chain

The focus for this group will be to encourage our organizations to attract, promote and retain women in supply chain roles. A multifaceted approach is planned to meet the needs of our members and the goals of our group.

For Women In Supply Chain, contact Deanna Yee at vpcommunications@apics-houston.org

Young Professionals

The Young Professionals group, for those with 0 to 5 years in the workplace, will provide opportunities to network & connect, foster personal & professional growth, learn relevant skills to your career, volunteer within the Houston community, and interact with your peers in a safe environment.

For Young Professionals, contact Ken Jamison at vpmembership@apics-houston.org
