Title: "Making It Count:  Designing, Executing, and Sustaining Supply Chain Transformations"

Topic: Today's rapidly challenging and changing global economy requires Supply Chain Managers to be transformation leaders.  How can supply chain managers identify and implement significant improvements to help their businesses win?
Scott Ehrsam from Caterpillar Inc. will review a Supply Chain Transformation (SCT) framework on how to confront and overcome common challenges when planning and executing large-scale supply chain improvements. He will combine the SCT framework with actual business situations to encourage learning, discussion, and to help prepare supply chain professionals to achieve challenging transformation goals.

Biography: Scott Ehrsam is a supply chain director in Caterpillar’s global mining division, where he is responsible for the end-to-end integration of the Bucyrus service parts supply chain. As a global supply chain professional, Ehrsam has a proven track record of developing and leading business and supply chain transformations in the Americas, Europe, and Asia. His experience also includes leadership roles in manufacturing, service parts operations, and product support. He is a regular presenter at APICS conferences and webinars.
