CPIM Generalities

The APICS Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) program provides you with the ability to understand and evaluate production and inventory activities within a company's global operations. More than 100,000 professionals since 1973 have earned the APICS CPIM designation.

The CPIM Program is split into five modules, and to become certified a candidate must pass an exam for each module. Detailed information regarding each module can be found below.

You do not have to take a class to take an exam. The classes are provided to help you learn and prepare.  You can sign up for classes individually or through the CPIM in a Year program.  The CPIM in a Year program enables an individual to sign up for all 5 classes at once and save over $350.

CPIM Testing

To become Certified in Production and Inventory Management, you must pass 5 exams.  You do not have to take classes to take the exams.  Passing our certification exams is not easy but is achieveable.  Over 100,000 people worldwide have achieved the CPIM certification.

CPIM Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your enrollment and receive a full refund up to 14 days before the first class starts. There will be no refunds after this date.   If you need to reschedule your class, you must contact the VP of Education prior to the start of the first class.    

For CPIM in a Year, we offer a special discount for committing to all 5 modules.  As stated above, you can receive a full refund up to 14 days prior to the start of the first Basics of Supply Chain class.  No refunds or credits will be given for the remaining classes.

CPIM Review Class Audit

We realize passing a CPIM exam is challenging.  To assist our students, we allow individuals who have previously paid for and taken one of our classes to audit that same class for FREE on a space available basis. We will allow one free audit per CPIM course.  You will NOT receive new materials.  To qualify, you must:

 
(1) Have attended and paid for that APICS Houston Chapter class
(2) Request permission to attend from the VP of Education at least 7 days prior to the start of class of the first class.   The VP of Education's decision is final.
(3) Submit proof of payment and attendance with your request.  Proof of attendance AND payment can be achieved by including your Certificate of Completion.  

Note: that if you do not have your Certificate of Completion, we will need proof of payment and the dates and location that you attended the class.   To be considered, you will need to have attended at least 50% of the classes as evidenced by the student roster.
